Finalmente è terminato il letargo!
Come avevamo già anticipato finalmente in autunno si torna a parlare dei R.E.M.
Il prossimo 12 settembre la Emi pubblicherà la prima antologia in CD e DVD del catalogo I.R.S. dei R.E.M. “And I feel fine… The best of the I.R.S. years 1982-1987" che sarà disponibile in due formati: un cd contenente ventuno brani scelti dalla band e dai fan, oppure due CD con una seconda raccolta di 21 rarità, inediti e brani registrati dal vivo.

Ma la vera notizia è che anche Michael alla BBC ha confermato che la band tornerà finalmente in Studio proprio in settembre.
E tutto questo accadrà molto probabilmente dopo il 16 settembre quando i R.E.M. torneranno su un palco in 4, ovvero nella formazione originale con il batterista Bill Berry, che aveva lasciato il gruppo nel 1997.
Tre sole canzoni dal vivo ad Atlanta, per la cerimonia di insediamento nella Georgia Music Hall of Fame basteranno a colmare la nostra nostalgia per quel magico tocco?
Non lo so, non credo, la speranza della reunion definitiva rimane un sogno da cullare nella memoria dei fan storici, ma si sa a volte anche i miracoli si realizzano...
