Il 17 novembre verra’ pubblicato il nuovo best degli U2 intitolato 18 SINGLES: un greatest hits con più 2 brani, The Saints Are Coming con i Green Day e la traccia inedita Window In the Skies, entrambi registrati agli Abbey Studios di Londra.

Mercoledì 8 Novembre, sarà la radio date mondiale di “Window In The Skies”, il nuovo singolo degli U2, registrato presso gli Abbey Road Studios di Londra e prodotto da Rick Rubin.
“Window In The Skies”, anticiperà l’uscita del nuovo best degli U2, 18 SINGLES, la prima raccolta che ripercorre in 16 brani, l’intera carriera musicale della band irlandese, da “Boy” (1980) fino all’ ultimo album “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb”, pubblicato nel 2004. Il nuovo best, oltre al nuovo singolo e ai 16 brani, conterrà anche “The Saints are coming”, cover degli SKIDS che gli U2 e i Green Day hanno registrato per aiutare MUSIC RISING, un programma di charity realizzato con i musicisti danneggiati dall'uragano Kathrina nella regione del Golfo di New Orleans. L’album si troverà in versione CD e vinile. Inoltre sarà disponibile in versione limitata con un bonus DVD di 10 brani registrati al concerto live di San Siro a Milano per il Vertigo Tour.

The band have announced the eighteen tracks that will feature on 'U218 Singles' , the definitive 'best of' set for release on November 20th - including details of the brand new studio tracks produced by Rick Rubin at Abbey Road.
It will be released on CD and 12” vinyl and as a full length DVD featuring the single promo videos. The collection will also be available as a limited edition CD with a bonus DVD of 10 tracks recorded live in Milan, Italy on the Vertigo//05 tour.
U218 Singles is the first single disc collection to span the band’s career from Boy (1980) to How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (2004). Also included are two tracks recorded last month with producer Rick Rubin at Abbey Road Studios in London: The Saints Are Coming (with Green Day) and a new, previously unreleased track Window In The Skies.
